Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or send us an enquiry, why we collect it, and the rights you have. It applies under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.
1. Who we are

2. Data we collect and why
Enquiries. When you use the contact form or email us, we receive the details you give us: your name, email address, travel dates, number of guests and your message. We use them only to reply to you and, if you want to book, to arrange your stay. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Website hosting. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. This is needed to deliver the site securely and is based on our legitimate interest in running a stable, secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Bookings through platforms. If you book through Airbnb or Booking.com, those platforms process your data under their own privacy policies. We receive the booking details they share with us to host your stay.
3. Google Maps
The map on our home page is only loaded with your consent: either you click Accept in the cookie banner (the map then loads automatically on this and later visits), or you click Load map on the map itself. Only then does your browser connect to Google (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google may then receive your IP address, set cookies and transfer data to the United States, which is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the home page; the map is then no longer loaded. See Google's Privacy Policy.
4. Cookies
This website does not set any cookies itself and does not use analytics or advertising trackers. Fonts and icons are served from our own server. Cookies may only be set by Google if you consent to the map (see section 3).
Your browser remembers your cookie choice and your language choice (English or Greek) in its local storage, so we do not have to ask again. This information stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with service providers we need to run the site and answer you: our hosting provider and our email provider (Google Gmail). Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/UK, in which case adequate safeguards such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses apply.
6. How long we keep data
Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are deleted within 12 months. Data relating to a booking is kept for as long as required by tax, accounting and Greek accommodation regulations, after which it is deleted.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data deleted, where we have no legal reason to keep it;
- restrict or object to how we process it;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time (for example for Google Maps), without affecting processing that happened before.
To use any of these rights, email us at info@pk-design-flat.com. You can also complain to a supervisory authority: in Greece, the Hellenic Data Protection Authority; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
